Rang
Originally hailing from Queens NY, Rang is widely considered to be one of North Carolina’s most versatile DJs. Raised in the 90s & 2000s on hip hop, Bollywood, & classical violin, his musical repertoire reaches far wider internationally, leaving no corner of the globe untouched.
Style-wise, Rang is most at home showcasing his turntablism and live remixing abilities across genres. A typical set will take you on a journey though locales such as Chennai & Nairobi with stops in Beirut, San Juan, & of course North Carolina.
Now 15 years into his DJ career, his resumé includes performances for the NCMA, PBS, BET, countless national acts, festival performances, and collaborations with live musicians.
Based in Durham NC, Rang travels nationally/internationally for private events, specializes in high-end destination weddings, and has one of the best sounding (and best lit) roadshows on the east coast!
Jamie Overcash
Jamie spent his early years listening to his parent’s large collection of LPs and 45s on the living room record player, there he developed a love for 50s - 80s rock, Motown, and beach music.
Through skateboarding in his early teens, he discovered hip-hop and the breaks, funk, and soul that it was built from. His love of music eventually led Jamie to buy a set of turntables over which he spent countless hours teaching himself how to DJ.
Early in his career he honed his craft in small college town clubs expanding his musical knowledge and polishing his technique. Over the last decade, he has traveled the US playing in nightclubs and sharing the stage with current and legendary artists at concerts and events.
Recently Jamie has transitioned his passion for music into a career as a Music Designer at Mood Media where he works with top global brands to created custom music experiences used within their retail and office environments.
